As a senior manager or learning lead, you may be seeking to offer executive coaching to individuals and teams across your organisation. This takes time, dedication and focus, which can be difficult when other important matters demand your attention.

Whether it’s investing in talent, standardising core leadership competencies, embedding a shift in culture, enabling smoother transitions into more senior roles, steadying the ship during a period of change, or onboarding newly appointed executives, outsourcing the whole process to a corporate coaching specialist has many advantages.

From coach-matching through to evaluation, the gemm Fully Managed Coaching Service is designed to align your coaching offer with your overall organisational objectives and minimise the demands on your time, by capitalising on gemm’s longstanding expertise.

And, if you are simply looking to offer coaching to one or two individuals, from middle managers to the C-Suite, you may benefit from using gemm’s Coach Matching Service.

The Benefits of a Fully Managed Coaching service

  • A one source, one point of contact, scalable service
  • A guaranteed source of expert, qualified and experienced coaches
  • Tailored individual coaching relationships which match learners’ styles and specific areas for development
  • Minimal internal administrative load
  • A simple way of identifying underlying themes, and strengths and weaknesses that may benefit from organisational intervention

All of which:

  • Enables key personnel to develop, thrive and add real impact to the organisation
  • Provides a confidential, independent forum for coachees to grow and develop
  • Ensures a quality learning experience for each individual coachee
  • Helps achieve strategic objectives, and attract and retain key talent
  • Enables senior management to focus on their key responsibilities

The Process

  • As the foundation for the individual or organisational development programme, we establish its overall objectives, desired outcomes, and success criteria
  • The details of the outsourced management process are discussed and agreed
  • All coaching documentation, including a comprehensive Coaching Guide to enable the coachee to gain the most from their coaching relationship, is provided for use by the coachees and the organisation
  • The specific needs and interests of each coachee is identified through 1:1 interviews
  • If appropriate, an online or in-person launch for a large-scale coaching programme is held
  • Each individual is presented with a shortlist of coaches from our panel and initial chemistry sessions are arranged
  • The coachees identify their preferred coach and the working relationships begin
  • Development goals are agreed with the learners in session one, along with agreeing how the parties will work together most effectively
  • As appropriate, start and end-point planning and review sessions are held between the coachee, their line manager and/or learning lead, and the coach to agree the focus for the work, acknowledge progress, and identify further development needs
  • Regular check-ins are held with the commissioner to ensure that the service is meeting requirements, and that the coaches are aware of developments in the business
  • Individual coachee feedback is summarised to preserve confidentiality, and shared with the organisation
  • Anonymous themes, underlying patterns, strengths, and issues of concern are identified, which the organisation may like to address further
  • A final evaluation report is issued by gemm, mapped to organisational and programme objectives
  • Charging is managed through just one monthly summary invoice no matter how many coaching relationships are being conducted
